Gabriel De Roche (Gabe) is a PhD candidate in political science at the University of California, San Diego. His focus is comparative politics with an interest in immigration policy-making.

His research is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF)’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program and Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
He studies the comparative politics of immigration, with a particular focus on the migration impacts of climate change.
